THE BRONX - A group of New York City Housing Authority tenants came together Friday to host a luncheon for the men and women who take care of their buildings as a way of saying thanks.

This year marked the first that the Tenants Association hosted its appreciation luncheon.

Residents say the improvements to the buildings have come a long way, even though there are still some ongoing repairs.
