THE BRONX - The Bronx Parking Development Company is looking to redevelop two Yankee parking lots amid plummeting earnings.

Doug Turketsy, of the city's Independent Budget Office, says the company is trying to tear down the lots and sublease them to developers. He says anything from housing to a hotel is viable for the locations, as there is a desperate need for housing in the area.

The Bronx Parking Development Company declined to comment when asked for specifics, so there is no official word on how long the lots will continue to operate.
