THE BRONX - Bronx residents who may decide to go biking this season can head over to St. James Park for a free helmet today.

Lawmakers say they want to make sure people will be riding safely. The Department of Transportation will be handing out free bike helmets while supplies last.

The giveaways will take place at St. James Park from 4 to 7 p.m. The rain site will be at St. James Recreation Center.
