THE BRONX - A group of Bronx natives are celebrating the borough's 100th anniversary by sharing their message of respecting the Bronx and its history.

The group of men, who were all born and raised in the Bronx, are history buffs who meet together at the Jolly Tinker Bar on Webster Avenue. Their leader, Isaac Moore, calls the group "The Great and Glorious Grand Army of the Bronx."

"We love the Bronx and we celebrate everything that the Bronx has," says member Angel Hernandez.

In honor of the Bronx's 100th anniversary, the group reenacted the time the Bronx Borough President James Lyons tried to annex the Manhattan neighborhood of Marble Hill in 1939. The group brought the borough's flag to the neighborhood and claimed it in the name of the Bronx.
