THE BRONX - Police are trying to catch a thief caught on surveillance camera preying on an Edenwald home twice in the span of two days.

On May 17, he is seen walking into the apparently unlocked home, walking out with sneakers and driving away with a car - a 2015 Lexus SUV.

Two days later, footage shows the car recovered by police and back in the driveway. The thief strikes again, looking to take the Lexus for a drive. According to police, a quick-thinking neighbor confronted him and the suspect got away on foot.

Police say that the thief is between 16 and 18 years old, weighing between 120 and 140 pounds.
