THE BRONX - Thousands came to Orchard Beach this morning to take part in the Make Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.

Organizers say more than 9,000 people participated in the walk, giving this year the highest turnout since the event began in the borough.

All the money raised will help newly diagnosed breast cancer patients in The Bronx.
