THROGGS NECK - Throggs Neck residents, many wearing green, lined East Tremont Avenue to watch the neighborhood's 16th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.

For many in Throggs Neck, the parade is a community tradition they look forward to every year.

Organizers say this year's parade was its biggest yet, featuring 20 marching bands and 60 other groups. The parade also included groups from Long Island and Westchester.
