THROGGS NECK - St. Patrick's Day came early for the Bronx this year, as parade-goers showed off their Irish and Bronx pride at the borough's 15th annual St. Patrick's Day parade in Throggs Neck.

With the unseasonably warm weather, crowds lined East Tremont Avenue to watch the marching bands, bagpipes and Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops march past. Local politicians also joined in the parade, including Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.

Parade organizers say the Bronx's St. Patrick's Day parade is the second-largest parade for the holiday in the city.
