Throgs Neck residents brave rain for parade

THROGS NECK - Bronx residents gathered at the annual Throgs Neck St. Patrick's Day parade Sunday.

Spectators braved the rainy weather to enjoy some Irish-inspired fun along East Tremont Avenue.

Those in attendance say the highlight of the parade was the bagpipers, who were decked out in traditional kilts. The parade was followed by a party with traditional Irish music and food.
