Throgs Neck residents want the Department of Transportation to take action against what they consider to be a dangerous intersection.They say numerous accidents have occurred

THE BRONX - Throgs Neck residents want the Department of Transportation to take action against what they consider to be a dangerous intersection.

They say numerous accidents have occurred at the intersection of Lawton and Hollywood avenues.

Currently, only drivers on Hollywood Avenue are required to stop. Residents say it's difficult for some drivers on Lawton Avenue to see if a car is coming because of the landscape. They would like to see a four-way stop at the intersection to improve safety.

News 12 The Bronx is waiting for a call back from the Department of Transportation regarding the residents' concerns.
