THROGS NECK - Throgs Neck residents say they are fed up with a neglected home for sale in their neighborhood.

Residents on Huntington Avenue say the home is covered with overgrown weeds and bushes, with bottles and other debris scattered around the property.

Rosalyn Lopez, who is listed on the Coldwell Banker-Gumbo Realty sign on the front gate says, "We will contact the owner and ask him to clear the property again. We understand the neighbors' frustrations with the property."

A Department of Buildings spokesperson says that the home does have violations dating back to 2010 that reference it as vacant and unguarded.
