THE BRONX - Some Throgs Neck residents are calling on the city to move a busy bus stop away from their homes.

According to neighbors, the Bx8 stop on Dean Avenue is just feet away from their front doors, creating a number of issues, including safety concerns with their kids. They also complain about difficulty accessing their own driveways and not being able to park on the street.

One resident says the issue is nothing new, and that she first contacted the Department of Transportation (DOT) about it back in 2006.

The MTA says that there are bus stops in front of private properties throughout the city and tells residents to reach out to their local police precincts about their concerns.
