NEW YORK - The spotlight in New York may be on Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio, but his teenage son is stealing some of the attention.

Dante de Blasio has been selected as one of Time Magazine's 16 most influential teens of 2013, citing the Booklyn Tech student as the city’s latest fashion icon.

The 16-year-old was seen with his sister, Chiara, standing front-and-center last week when their father gave his victory speech after being elected mayor.

Other notable names on the list are 17-year-old Lorde, whose hit song "Royals" played during de Blasio's entrance on election night, 15-year-old Malia Obama and 16-year-old Nobel Peace Prize nominee Malala Yousafzai, who is known for standing up for better education under Taliban rule.
