THE BRONX - Manhattan College is talking titles as it enters a new season in basketball.

The Jaspers have high expectations for a MAAC win for the first time in years after a 15-win turnaround last season.

Top returning players include lead scorer in the MAAC George Beamon, reigning conference Defensive Player of the Year Rhamel Brown, and Bronx native Mike Alvarado, who runs the point.
