THE BRONX - News 12 The Bronx is counting down the top stories of the borough of 2013 as voted by our viewers. Coming in at No. 7 is British graffitti artist Banksy.

Banksy's work popped up all over New York City this fall, including several spots in the Bronx.

No one knows who he is or what he even looks like, but his pieces usually sell for thousands.

He started tastefully tagging up parts of the city, starting with a fiberglass replica of Ronald McDonald having his shoes shined by an actual person. The sculpture was outside various McDonald's during one week in October.

A week later, he struck again on East 153rd and Elton Avenue in Melrose. The graffiti showed a butler bringing a little boy cans of spray paint. The boy in the image tagged the wall with the words "Ghetto 4 Life."

His last work in the Bronx was a snow leopard at Yankee Stadium. The artwork has since been painted over.
