Traffic to reverse on Saint Paul Avenue

THE BRONX - After years of dispute, Community Board 10 voted Thursday to reverse the flow of traffic on Saint Paul Avenue back to its original direction.

The residential avenue was a southbound street, but was switched in 2006 to allow more traffic onto Pelham Parkway. Members of the Pelham Bay Tax Payers Association say the change caused congestion because two other streets already face that direction.

The Community Board says it's waiting on the Department of Transportation to give an exact time frame for the change.
