Trash bags, garbage piles litter Bedford Park block

BEDFORD PARK - Bedford Park residents complain they feel dumped on by bags and mounds of trash littered along a busy block.

News 12 The Bronx crews saw at least 10 bags of trash hanging from a fence and more piled up on the sidewalk. Residents say heavy foot traffic from nearby bus stops and Lehman College add to the problem that breeds rodents.

However, they say the biggest problem is that no garbage pails line the block. News 12 is awaiting comment from the Department of Sanitation about the problem.
