THE BRONX - Residents of Co-op City are saying trash is now piling up inside buildings as the worker strike continues.

Union maintenance workers at the housing complex protested for the eighth day in a row over health benefits and wages. RiverBay management and the union have yet to come to an agreement for a new contract.

City sanitation workers picked up garbage piling up in the street recently. However, residents say trash continues to accumulate.
