THE BRONX - The man accused in the shooting death of a 14-year-old Bronx boy faced a judge and fainted in the courtroom after hearing the charges against him.

According to police, 28-year-old Travis Bloch was taken into custody in Binghamton on Saturday for the killing of Christopher Duran back on May 22. They say he shot the teen a total of seven times, six times in the torso and once in the neck.

Bloch was arraigned Monday afternoon in Bronx Criminal Court where the district attorney said he could face 50 years to life in prison if convicted. At that point, Bloch hit his head on the table and fell to the floor, forcing the court to take a brief recess.

Duran's mother, father and other family members were in the courtroom for the arraignment. The boy's mother broke down in tears when she saw her son's suspected killer.

Bloch is facing several charges, including second-degree murder. He is being held without bail.
