THE BRONX - Easter Sunday has finally arrived, and many Bronx residents are taking the time to celebrate with family and loved ones.

Christians throughout the borough gathered at their respective churches for Easter Mass, including those at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Pastor Matthew Gonzalez says the goal of his sermon was to make sure everyone in the church knew how special Easter Sunday is.

Gonzalez even started a mini-party inside the church, which included a disco ball.

After the service, a large brunch was held in the church's downstairs area.
