THE BRONX - A trolley tour is exploring green rooftops in the borough as part of Bronx Week.

The green roofs were designed to mitigate environmental impacts associated with urban communities, experts say.

They reduce heat released from buildings and reduce costs from climate control systems for air conditioning and heating.

Experts say green roofs also help clean air and water.
