THE BRONX - Tropical Storm Andrea soaked the Bronx last night, creating slick roads for drivers.

Bronx residents were encouraged to stay off of the roads as a safety precaution. Some say they planned to stay inside even if it meant they had to work from home all day.

Andrea is now pushing off to the north and east, after dumping nearly 5 inches of rain in some parts of the area.
