NEW YORK - The suspect arrested in the shooting of a New York City police officer has been indicted.

Police say 30-year-old Tyrone Howard now faces murder and robbery charges.

Howard is accused of shooting NYPD Officer Randolph Holder in East Harlem last week while the officer responded to a report of a stolen bicycle.   

His arraignment is set for Nov. 24.
