THE BRONX - Bronx residents using Uber Tuesday got some extra perks, according to the rideshare service.

Bronx residents using Uber-pool were charged a flat rate of $5 for any in-borough trip.

Uber also offered riders a free slice of pizza.

Uber officials said it is their way of thanking New Yorkers for using the service as the company celebrates its fifth year in New York City.

The free slices of pizza were provided by using the Uber app at Emilio's Pizza on Morris Park Avenue or Full Moon Pizzeria on Arthur Avenue.

Uber is offering exclusive deals to New Yorkers through the end of the week.
