Unclaimed lotto ticket sold at Bronx bodega worth $1 million

THE BRONX - New York lottery officials are looking for the person who bought a very valuable ticket at a Bronx bodega last year and still hasn't claimed their prize.

The ticket was bought on Feb. 2, 2013 at 221 East 167th St. and is worth $1 million. The location where the ticket was bought is the C&C Discount deli, which is also now known as Future Beauty Supply. The numbers on the ticket are 11, 16, 33, 40 and 41. It missed only the Powerball number of 34.

Yolanda Vega, from the New York Lottery was at the store on Wednesday to get people looking through their things to find the winning ticket.

Vega said in 2002 there was a $68 million jackpot that went unclaimed.

Lotto winners have one year to claim prizes and the expiration for this ticket is on Sunday.
