THE BRONX - Fire officials are investigating an underground explosion that rattled Jerome Park Reservoir last night.

Fire trucks and authorities from the Department of Environmental Protection rushed to the Goulden Avenue plant. Fire officials say the explosion occurred in a tunnel 200 feet underground.

No one was injured as result of the explosion. Authorities are investigating what caused the incident.
