Unidentified BX man found stabbed to death

THE BRONX - Police are on the hunt for a murder suspect after a man was found stabbed to death in a Bronx basement.

Police responded to a 911 call at 11:46 p.m. that a man had been stabbed in the basement of 1770 East 172nd St.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a 49-year-old Hispanic male stabbed in the torso.

Police brought the man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made for the crime, and the investigation is ongoing.
