THE BRONX - Tenants in one Highbridge building say they've been left high and dry without running water for days.

According to residents at 1380 University Ave., they weren't notified before the water was shut off on Monday. They complain that the water has been inconsistent for years, impacting even the smallest parts of their daily routine, such as brushing their teeth.

The tenants also went on strike back in November to get management to make essential repairs to their building, which has been in foreclosure since last June.
