USPS stamps out mail delivery for senior housing complex

Senior citizens that live at 950 Union Ave. say they are livid that they have to retrieve their mail from the post office a mile

THE BRONX - Senior citizens that live at 950 Union Ave. say they are livid that they have to retrieve their mail from the post office a mile away since mail is no longer being delivered to their housing complex.

The U.S. Postal Service says that the building has unsafe conditions, such as a major leak that poured into the mailboxes, and refuses to let mail carriers be put in danger.

The residents at the senior housing complex say that the leaks occur often and they are signing a petition in hopes of getting the New York City Housing Authority involved.
