THE BRONX - The Point Yacht Club is getting a renovation but residents in the area are concerned the plan could increase traffic.

The marina has been vacant and in disrepair for several years. The Department of Parks & Recreation is in negotiations with a contactor who will renovate and maintain the marina. The proposal includes building a clubhouse, office space and a modest restaurant.

Residents who live in the area say they are worried the renovations will increase traffic in the area. They say they want the plan to include traffic changes.
