Video released of suspect in Fordham bodega shooting

THE BRONX - Police have released surveillance video of the suspect wanted for shooting a bodega clerk in Fordham.

According to authorities, a man in his 20s got into an argument with a worker at Taiz Deli Grocery on Valentine Avenue Sunday afternoon. They say he left and returned to the store with a gun, and shot the 20-year-old clerk in the hip.

The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital and is expected to be OK.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
