THE BRONX - The NYPD is asking for help catching the gunman involved in a gas station shooting in Williamsbridge.

According to investigators, the suspect was caught on surveillance video at a BP station on East Gun Hill Road early Sunday. The video shows him standing in front of a pump before whipping out a gun and wounding a 29-year-old.

Police say the suspect jumped into a silver Dodge Challenger and fled the scene. He's described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s.

The victim was hit once in the left arm, with the bullet stopping in his chest. He is listed in stable condition at Montefiore Medical Center.
