THE BRONX - Bronx residents descended on Crotona Park today to help with cleanup efforts.

The volunteers cleared debris from Sandy that rolled through the area almost two weeks ago. More than 50 trees were damaged throughout the 127-acre park.

The cleanup was a joint effort between NYC Service and NYC Cares. Another cleanup is set to take place on Wednesday.
