THE BRONX - About 200 volunteers pitched in to build a new playground for children at the Grote Street Apartments in East Tremont. Bronx children who live nearby got to help design their new park. The project was sponsored by Omni New York, Disney volunteers and organizers from a group called Kaboom!, which helps bring playgrounds to areas in need. Residents say it's a great addition to the neighborhood.
