THE BRONX - The space inside Our Lady of Refuge transformed into a dining hall on Sunday to serve hundreds of residents in need of a Christmas meal.

Dozens of families volunteered their time on Christmas Day to cook and prepare the holiday meal.

The volunteers with the group “Parts of the Solution” worked different shifts during the event, including preparing, serving and cleaning up.

The people who received the meal also received an additional meal to go.
