THE BRONX - Friends and family of the three people killed in a Prospect Avenue house fire gathered today to remember their loved ones.

Mourners filled the Ortiz Funeral Home on Southern Boulevard this afternoon to say farewell to Juan Lopez, Christina Garcia and Christian Garcia.

The apartment where the family lived was in foreclosure and the owner says he was unaware anyone was living in the building.  He says he never took rent from anyone and that the building was supposed to be empty.

The family says the bodies will be shipped to Mexico for a funeral on Wednesday.
