THE BRONX - Students and parents walked to school instead of riding the bus to P.S. 6 today in an effort to increase physical activity.

Parent volunteers led children on the walk to school. The program seeks to increase opportunities for physical activity and volunteerism in communities.

The program is an initiative of the City?s Walking School Bus effort.
