Warm temps draw residents to beach

The city's public schools don't open until tomorrow, so more people are expected to catch some rays at the beach in the last few hours of summer vacation.

THE BRONX - While Labor Day may mark the end of summer for some, the warm weather kept drawing residents to Orchard Beach Tuesday.

Tuesday saw mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low 90s. The warm temperatures are expected to last throughout the week.

The beaches will be open until Sunday, Sept. 13.

The city's public schools don't open until Wednesday.
