THE BRONX - The temperature hit 70 degrees Wednesday, prompting Bronx residents to get out and enjoy the sunshine.

Children packed Macombs Dam Park near Yankee Stadium.

Temperatures were expected to fall to about 45 degrees in the evening.

Thursday's high will be around 60 degrees, and rain may arrive by Friday.
