THE BRONX - A water main break has left several streets in Highbridge nearly impassible this morning. The main burst on West 167th Street, sending gallons of water flowing down the street and forcing pedestrians and cars to maneuver around the water.Crews from the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) were able to stop the flow of water after a couple of hours, but to do that, they were forced to temporarily shut off the neighborhood's water supply.According to the DEP, the age of the water main may have caused the break.
