THE BRONX - Water flooded the streets of Bronxdale Friday morning following a main break on White Plains Road.

First responders say it happened at around 4:30 a.m. The water was quickly shut off and confined to a small area.

Con Ed crews were also on the scene helping to clean up and say only one house lost power.

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is investigating the cause of the break.
