Water main break floods streets for 2 hours

A water main near West Fordham Road and Hampden Place burst Tuesday morning, causing water to gush down neighboring streets.

FORDHAM - A water main near West Fordham Road and Hampden Place burst Tuesday morning, causing water to gush down neighboring streets.

For at least two hours, water was shooting out of the main break.

Residents say that it isn't the first time they've dealt with a main break.

The street was only paved six months ago, according to residents.
