Water turned off on Longfellow Ave. due to main break

THE BRONX - Many Bronx residents living along Longfellow Avenue were left without water this morning following a main break.

Officials say the break happened at around 5 a.m. and forced the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to turn off the water to some tenants.

Police also moved cars parked on the street so that the DEP could access the pipe.
