Weather update: Nor'easter melting away

THE BRONX - First it was Superstorm Sandy and then it was a nasty nor'easter that wreaked havoc in The Bronx.

News 12 Meteorologist Mike Favetta says that between 2 and 4 and a half inches fell in different parts of the city, but melting started quickly as temperatures edged up to the mid-40s.

An even bigger warmup is on the way for the weekend and Monday, with temperatures nearing the 70-degree mark and coming close to heat records.
