CITY ISLAND - Across City Island, there's an eerie quietness in the usually busy summer hotspot.

The waters, usually dotted with boats, are empty and unused wet benches line the normally crowded Johnny's Reef Restaurant.

"The weather's not really being cooperative," said one business owner. "Other than that if we had good weather I think we'd have a lot more activity."

One of the few businesses that are busy in the is the City Island Deli, which received many food orders prior to the bad weather.
