Weekend traffic advisory for 06/07

THE BRONX - Those driving through the borough this weekend may encounter some minor construction projects and events.

Bronx Summer Walks will be happening this weekend. The first street closure will be 167th Street between Gerard and Cromwell avenues from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The next Summer Walks event will be on Louise Nene Boulevard, with the closure from Southern Boulevard to Intervale Avenue on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Construction will take place on East 164th Street between Walton Avenue and the Grand Concourse on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for repairs.

Alternate side of the street parking rules will be in effect this weekend.
