THE BRONX - If sticking around the borough this weekend, some construction projects and events could slow down your travel plans.

The Bronx 10-mile race will shut down the Grand Concourse on Sunday from Mosholu Parkway to 161st Street, with some side streets closed along the route. The closures will be in place from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Track work will impact some Bronx trains. The 5 train will run every 20 minutes between Dyer Avenue and Bowling Green, and uptown 6 trains will run express from Parkchester to Pelham Bay Park.

Alternate side of the street parking rules will be in effect citywide.
