THE BRONX - If you're staying local this weekend, there are some construction projects on the roads and rails that could slow down your commute.

Long-term road work will continue on the Cross Bronx Expressway at the Alexander Hamilton Bridge during the overnight hours on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Major Deegan Expressway will also have one lane blocked in both directions approaching the Cross Bronx during the daytime hours. It will then be subject to full closures of up to 15 minutes overnight.

Alternate side of the street parking rules will be back in effect citywide following a break for the snowfall.

Anyone taking mass transit is advised to check MTA schedules before heading out as there will be plenty of track work.
