THE BRONX - There are many things to do around the borough for Memorial Day weekend.
On Sunday, visitors can take a 'nosh walk' tour around Yankee Stadium, the Grand Concourse and even visit the Hall of Fame. During the tour, visitors can also sample Caribbean, African and Mexican tasty treats. The nosh walk starts at 1 p.m. at 101 East 161st St.
A free Memorial Day concert will be held at 2 p.m. at Van Cortlant Park. The show will feature familiar favorites like 'Fiddler on the Roof', Latin American Symphonette, 'Sweeney Todd' and the Bronx's own Bronx Arts Ensemble Orchestra. Visitors can enter the park at Broadway and 246th street.
On Sunday, a bone marrow drive will take place, in the hopes of helping 11-year-old Tiffany Glasgow, who suffers from sickle cell anemia. The drive will be held at 839 Reverend James A. Polite Ave.
