THE BRONX - Cold temperatures and whipping winds made for a rough Sunday in the Bronx.

Resident Michael Santollo, of Morris Park, said that the howling winds kept him up Saturday night and that a tree fell on his neighbor's car and fence.

"I didn't hear the tree crack," he said. "But when I came outside this morning, I see it down on my neighbor's house. So it's bad."

The National Weather Service had issued a high wind warning for New York City due to wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
